A big congratulations to youth Member Katie Richey
 Katie won the Essay Writing Contest and was awarded a colt donated by
Cross Country Farm/Belinda Bagby,  he is "Cross Country Born on the Bayou"
Katie with Lil Hoofbeats Clever Endeavor took the Youth 13-17 8th Showmanship- Over
and 3rd Youth Obstacle Driving- Over,  5th Youth Halter Obstacle

SMHC Member Beth Booker's placements were -
Stars Little Bit of Grace- 5th Western Country Pleasure Driving 32" and under
(1st & 4th for over all 5th place), 7th Amateur Showmanship- under, 4th Open Halter Obstacle- under 
(She also placed 1st under one judge in Ladies Western Country Pleasure Driving- Under)

 Lil Hoofbeats Clever Endeavor- 6th Open Obstacle Driving- Over, 3rd Open Halter Obstacle- Over, 
and10th Amateur Showmanship- Over

 Sevenacres Star of Hickory Hills- 6th Open Halter Obstacle- Over

 Washs Braveheart Tex Star- 8th open Obstacle Driving- Under 
(He also placed 5th under one judge in Country Pleasure Driving 30" and under)

 That's 8 top ten placings for Beth and Beth's neice, Katie, had 3 for a
total of 11 top ten placings for the Booker's!
